Alan Turing got a year older and yet his death is in doubt

You may ask who is Alan Turing? or the Turing Machine? Alan Mathison Turing (June 23, 1912 - July 07, 1954) a british mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst and computer scientist. one of the mathematician how introduce algorithm and computation with the Turing Machine (named after him). The father of computer science and artificial intelligence, Sir Alan Turing got a year older (June 23,1912), a centenary old and yet his contribution to mathematics and computer science is still alive.

Alan Turing and his greatest invention "Turing Machine"
Sir Turing ave a big contribution during World  War II that result to the British to win the war. He broke the Nazi's war codes using his great mind, but with because of his homosexuality, he killed himself by eating poisoned apple.

According to his brother, John, Alan would have been alive if it is not because of the persecutions of the people and their  mother about his sex, he would not do suicide. But other people doubt about the death of Sir Turing. Prof Jack Copeland questioned about the evidence presented at the 1954 inquest. He believe that the evidence presented would not today be accepted. According to Prof Copeland, the positioning of the apple and it is Sir Turing habit to take an Apple before bedtime, its a quite usual for him not to finish it with the addition of not testing the Apple for the remaining poison, it is premature to declare the case as suicide.

Nevertheless, at the inquest, the coroner, Mr JAK Ferns declared: "In a man of his type, one never knows what his mental processes are going to do next." What he meant by "of this type" is unclear.
The motive for suicide is easy to imagine. In 1952, after he had reported a petty burglary, Turing found himself being investigated for "acts of gross indecency" after he revealed he had had a male lover in his house.
Faced with the prospect of imprisonment, and perhaps with it the loss of the mathematics post he held at Manchester University, which gave him access to one of the world's only computers, Turing accepted the alternative of "chemical castration" - hormone treatment that was supposed to suppress his sexual urges.
It is often repeated that the chemicals caused him to grow breasts, though Turing is only known to have mentioned this once.

What really happen that day is still a mystery for everybody. Where homosexuality is not accepted by the eyes of the people. How every Sir Turing still be one of the best man in his time and we are still using his achievements. That means even the people judge Sir Turing he never close his heart to help his country.
